Account Deletion Process
To ensure the security and integrity of our users' data, we have established a thorough process for deleting accounts upon request.
Step 1: Request Submission
A user who wishes to delete their account must submit a request via email to info@palmz.app. The request must include the following information:

A clear statement indicating the user's desire to delete their account

Their registered email address and/or username associated with the account
Step 2: Verification
Upon receiving the request, our team will verify the authenticity of the request by performing the following checks:

Check if the email address matches the one linked to the account being requested for deletion.

Verify that the request is not spam or a fake attempt to delete an account.
If the request appears legitimate, we will proceed with the deletion process. If the request seems suspicious or invalid, we may contact the user for further verification before proceeding.
Step 3: Account Suspension
Once the authenticity of the request has been confirmed, we will suspend the account temporarily to prevent any unauthorized access or activities.
Step 4: Data Erasure
We will then erase all data associated with the suspended account, including:

Any stored personal data (e.g., location history, search queries)

Session and transaction logs
Step 5: Account Deletion
After erasing all data, we will permanently delete the account from our system.
Step 6: Notification
We will send a confirmation email to the user's registered email address once the deletion process is complete. This notification will include:

An assurance that their personal data has been securely erased
Post-Deletion Process
To ensure the security of our users' data, we will also perform the following actions after an account has been deleted:

Remove any stored personal data associated with the deleted account from our databases.

Review and update our security measures to prevent similar requests from being exploited in the future.
